The Owlkrown HotGrip is the first thumb rest that keeps your Leica handling solid while still allowing you to mount a manual flash or accessory. Unlike most thumb grips that block your hot shoe, this one doesn’t. It works seamlessly with center-pin manual flashes and is fully compatible with hot shoe-mounted optical viewfinders, giving you total freedom without compromise.

Attach the removable pass through hot shoe adapter to your manual flash, then slide it into the base of the grip. It locks into place with a click, no tools, no extra parts, just fast and secure mounting.

 

The built in snap lid keeps the grip’s electrical contacts clean and protected when not in use. When removed, the lid stores securely on the front of the grip, so you never lose it.

 

Beyond flashes, you can also mount LED lights, microphones, or any cold shoe accessory that uses a standard male mount.

 

The grip is angled to match your thumb’s natural position and provides added support in both landscape and portrait shooting. Smooth beveled edges keep it comfortable, even for long sessions.

 

Machined from 6061 T6 aluminum, finished in matte black. Designed and manufactured in Miami, Florida.
