Grip. Secure. Finish. Protect. The Q, ready to travel.

The Travel Kit is the Leica Q set up the way it leaves the house: a grip under the hand, a strap already on it, an eyecup on the finder and a release your finger can find. Every metal piece is cut and finished together, so the camera reads as one machined object rather than a body wearing four accessories.

Solid brass darkened by hand into Black Patina, with the Trailflex strap in Stealth. The patina is an organic process, piece by piece, so no two kits break the same way.

One finish, one box, nothing left to match.

Grip. A continuation of the Q, not an add-on.

The FlexGrip follows the Leica Q design language rather than sitting on top of it. The camera rests on internal silicone padding, and a single screw releases the handle when you want the body bare.

Arca profile, built in.

An integrated Arca profile for direct tripod mounting, with added support against forward tipping. No bracket to find, none to forget at home.

AirTag traceability, hidden.

A removable module conceals an AirTag beneath the SD card door. Nothing on the outside says it is there, and fast USB-C transfer off the camera still works as it did.

Dual 1/4" points and a third strap lug.

Two threaded mounting points on the base, plus an extra attachment point for a wrist strap or portrait-mode carry.

Secure. The Trailflex Adjustable strap.

Adjustable on the fly, so it goes from neck to cross-body without being unthreaded. It comes on polished split rings, ready for the Q lugs.

The hot shoe stays usable.

Most thumb grips take it away. The HotGrip passes it through. Attach the removable adapter to your manual flash, slide it into the base of the grip and it locks with a click. A sliding lid keeps the contacts clean and stores on the grip when removed.

Protect. A finder you can press your eye to.

The EyeKup blocks stray and peripheral light while keeping the frame clearly visible, which makes focus easier in bright conditions. A precision-fit silicone pad protects glasses and keeps the eyecup stable. It mounts on the HotGrip, which is in this box.

Finish. A release with a defined bite.

The Shutter Topper is a 12 mm concave face that finds your finger. It installs without tools and comes off the same way.

The EDC Keychain Tool.

A flat tool designed by Gaston Shutters, with a 4 mm hex that doubles as a box opener. It ships with the FlexGrip and lives on your keys.

Made in Miami.

Engineered, machined and finished in our own shop, in limited batches.

  • FlexGrip for Q2 & Q3, Black Patina. Baseplate and grip handle.
  • Trailflex Adjustable Camera Strap, Stealth.
  • HotGrip for Q2 & Q3, Black Patina. With its pass-through hot shoe adapter and sliding lid.
  • EyeKup for Q2 & Q3, Black Patina. Metal body with a silicone contact pad. It mounts on the HotGrip, which is in this box.
  • Shutter Topper, Black Patina, 12 mm. Concave, tool free.
  • EDC Keychain Tool. 4 mm hex and box opener, included with the FlexGrip.
  • Leica Q2 and Leica Q3. Every piece in the kit is common to both bodies.
  • The HotGrip takes center pin manual flashes only. Not TTL, not HSS, not Visoflex or multi pin electronic accessories. Some of those will seat, but they will only fire in manual mode. This is a limit of the hot shoe pass-through, not of the rest of the kit.
  • Cold shoe accessories fit too. LED panels, microphones, an optical finder, anything on a standard foot.
  • The EyeKup is not standalone. It rides on the HotGrip, and the HotGrip is in this box.
  • Tripods and arms. Arca profile plus two 1/4" threads on the base.
  • Black Patina. Treat it as brass, but gently. A dry cloth is enough. Hard polishing will lift the patina off the high points, which is either the look you wanted or the one you did not.
  • It keeps moving. The patina is brass oxide, so it goes on darkening and wearing at the edges you handle most. That is the finish working, not failing.
  • The silicone pads. A damp cloth. Nothing solvent based near them.
  • The strap. Air dry it if it gets wet, and keep the leather tabs away from heat.
  • Does the kit fit both the Q2 and the Q3?Yes. Every piece is common to both bodies.
  • Can I still use a flash with the HotGrip on?Yes, that is the point of it. Center pin manual flashes pass straight through on the removable adapter. TTL, HSS, Visoflex and multi pin accessories will not work properly, and some will not seat at all.
  • Do I need to buy anything else for the EyeKup?No. It mounts on the HotGrip, and the HotGrip is in this box.
  • Does the grip come off?Yes. One screw releases the handle from the plate, and the plate mounts where the factory baseplate does. Nothing is drilled and nothing is adapted.
  • Do I have to pick a strap length? No. The Trailflex adjusts on the fly, so one strap covers neck and cross-body carry.
  • Will it look like the photographs?Close, not identical. Each piece is finished by hand through an organic process, so the depth and the break of the patina vary. That variation is the finish, not a fault in it.
  • Is this kit offered in other finishes?Yes. The same kit is made in Solid Brass, which is this brass left bright, and in Black Chrome and OxBlood aluminum.

The HotGrip is compatible with manual mode flashes with center pin.

The HotGrip is not compatible with TTL, HSS, Visoflex, or multi-pin electronic accessories. Some models will fit in but only work in manual mode.
