The M10, the M10-R and the M10 Monochrom, which is the one that goes out most. This plate came out of those days, not off a spec sheet.
The M10 asks for its baseplate back every time the battery runs down or a card fills. Off, set down somewhere, found again, lined up, twisted back on. Every plate built to replace it asks for the same thing, only now with a tool.
That is the FlexGrip.
AirTag compartment, hidden.
Concealed inside the plate. It closes from the outside and opens only from the inside, with the EDC Keychain Tool in the box. The camera can tell you where it is, and nothing on the outside says so.
The door opens. The plate stays on.
A magnetic door with a sealed gasket sits over the battery and card compartment. Change either one with the plate still bolted to the camera.
One screw, where the original goes.
It mounts on the same point the factory baseplate uses. Nothing is drilled and nothing is adapted.
Arca profile, all the way around.
The full perimeter is cut to the Arca profile, so the camera drops straight onto a tripod head. No bracket to find, none to forget at home.
A 1/4-20 thread.
For tripods, arms, straps and anything else that mounts by threading on.
A side lug for the strap.
The strap attaches to the plate, so carrying it does not depend on the camera lugs alone.
Sealed on the inside.
An internal gasket closes the plate against the body, keeping moisture and dust out of the compartment.
No plate error.
The M10 wants to know its baseplate is on. This one carries a sensor that tells it, so the camera never reports a missing plate.
The hollow grip.
Our grip shape, on the front of the plate. It fills the hand and is cut away where it does not need to be there. With heavier glass on the front, or a day of walking and lifting, a camera you can hold firmly is a camera you stop thinking about. If you want the access and the profile with the body unchanged, the FlexPlate is the same plate without the grip.
One plate covers the whole line.
Every M10 body takes the same baseplate, so one FlexGrip fits the M10, M10-P, M10-R, M10-D and M10 Monochrom. Special editions follow their base model.

It comes in Black Chrome and Silver Chrome, so the plate reads as part of the camera rather than as something added to it.

- Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. For heavier grime, use a slightly damp cloth and dry it after.
- Keep the door gasket clean. A wiped gasket seals and a gritty one does not.

- Which cameras does it fit?Every M10 body. The M10, M10-P, M10-R, M10-D and M10 Monochrom all take the same baseplate, so one FlexGrip covers the whole line.
- Do I have to take the plate off to change the battery?No. That is the reason it exists. The magnetic door opens over the battery and card compartment with the plate still bolted on.
- Will the camera tell me the baseplate is missing?No. The plate carries a sensor for exactly that.
- How does it mount?One screw, on the same point the original baseplate uses. Nothing is drilled and nothing is adapted.
- Do I still need a separate Arca plate?No. The Arca profile is machined around the perimeter, so the camera drops straight onto a tripod or rig.
- Can I still use a strap?Yes. The plate carries its own side lug, and the camera lugs are untouched.
- Where does the AirTag go?Into a concealed compartment inside the plate. It opens only from the inside, with the EDC Keychain Tool included in the box.
- What is the difference between the FlexGrip and the FlexPlate?The same plate and the same access. The FlexGrip, this one, adds our hollow grip on the front. The FlexPlate leaves the body unchanged.
- What do I need to install it?Nothing you do not already have. It ships with the EDC Keychain Tool and all the hardware needed to mount it.
- Which finish do I want?The one your body wears. Black Chrome for a black M10, Silver Chrome for a silver one. If you would rather it read as a separate part, the opposite pairing does that on purpose.
- Is this a Leica product?No. Owlkrown designs and machines the FlexGrip in Miami. It is an independent accessory built for the M10 system, not made or sold by Leica.

It drops into place by itself.
The retaining screw is captive, and it is designed to drop to its seat the moment the plate comes off. Put the plate back on and the screw is already aligned, already over the mounting point, and it engages on its own.
Never lose the screw. Never fight with it.
