The FlexGrip for the Fujifilm X-E5
Machined in Miami in small batches, the FlexGrip extends the X-E5's own geometry into a grip, for better ergonomics and a firmer, more confident hold. The rangefinder-style body is the shape the design works with, and the grip reads as part of it.
6061-T6 aluminum, in Black or Silver, cut for the X-E5.
- AirTagConcealed compartment machined inside the structure, invisible from outside.
- ArcaProfile machined into the plate, so the camera mounts with no separate plate.
- TripodTwo 1/4-20 threaded mounts for positioning and accessories.
- BatteryThe plate is cut away at the door, so the battery comes out with the grip on.
- StrapA side lug for wrist straps and portrait carry configurations.
- Fits. Fujifilm X-E5.
- Material. 6061-T6 aluminum.
- Finish. Black or Silver.
- Tripod. Integrated Arca profile for direct mounting, shaped to stop the camera tipping forward on the head.
- Threads. Two, 1/4 inch by 20, for tripod positioning and accessories.
- Strap lug. A side lug for wrist straps and portrait carry configurations.
- Tracking. An integrated AirTag compartment, concealed inside the structure, which does not change the outside profile of the grip.
- Interior. A silicone padded interface protects the body and makes the fit secure and vibration resistant.
- Battery. The plate is cut away at the battery door, so the battery comes out with the grip still fitted.
- Removable grip. One screw. The handle comes off and another goes on, so the grip can be re-finished later without replacing the plate.
- Origin. Designed, engineered and manufactured in Miami, Florida.
- 6061-T6 aluminum. Rigid where it has to be, and light enough that the X-E5 stays the small camera you bought it for.
- Black or Silver. Matched to the two X-E5 bodies.
- Silicone padded interface. Between the plate and the body, so the grip holds without marking the camera.
- Made in small batches. Machined and assembled in Miami by photographers who use the product themselves.
- Origin. Designed, engineered and manufactured in Miami, Florida.
- The fitEvery surface, radius and transition was cut to meet the X-E5 body rather than sit near it. The grip reads as part of the camera's form, which is the only way a grip works on a camera this size.
- Something to hold on toThe X-E5 is a flat-fronted rangefinder-style body. The FlexGrip gives the fingers a real purchase, which is the difference between carrying the camera and gripping it.
- On the tripod, then off againThe Arca profile is built into the plate, so the camera mounts directly with no separate plate or adapter, and two 1/4-20 mounts cover everything else.
- Carrying it on a wrist strapThe side lug takes a wrist strap or an alternative carry configuration, including portrait setups.
- FlexGrip. One, in the finish you chose, plate and grip together.
- Tool. The driver for the grip screw.
- AirTag. Never included. Apple sell the tag; what we machine is the compartment it drops into.
- Fujifilm X-E5. Cut for that body. It is not a universal grip and is not sold as one.
- Straight onto a tripod. The Arca profile is part of the plate.
- Two 1/4-20 mounts. For tripod positioning and accessories.
- Battery access. No need to take the grip off to change the battery.
- Anodized finishes. A dry cloth for dust, a barely damp one for anything else. Skip solvents and abrasive pastes: the finish is a layer, and once it is cut through it does not grow back.
- The screw. Check it is snug when you first fit the grip and again after a few outings. A quarter turn with the supplied tool is all it ever needs.
- When does it ship? This is a preorder. The first batch is in production, and orders ship as soon as it lands.
- Is an AirTag included? No. The compartment is machined into the grip; the tag is Apple's to sell.
- Can I put the camera straight onto a tripod?Yes. The Arca profile is part of the plate, and there are two 1/4-20 mounts besides.
- Can I change the grip later?Yes. The handle comes off on one screw, so a different finish can go on without replacing the plate.
- Which cameras does it fit?Fujifilm X-E5.
The X-E5, gripped.
Everything the camera already does well, left alone. The one thing a flat-fronted body asks you to work around, answered.

Something to hold on to.
The X-E5 is a flat-fronted, rangefinder-style body. The FlexGrip carries its own geometry forward into a contoured grip, so the fingers get a real purchase, the hold is steadier one-handed, and the camera still reads as one object.

AirTag, hidden inside.
The compartment is machined inside the structure. It does not change the outside profile of the grip, and nothing on the outside says it is there.
The tag is Apple's to sell. The compartment is ours.

The battery comes out. The grip stays on.
The plate is cut away at the battery door, so the battery slides out with the FlexGrip still fitted. Nothing to unbolt part way through a shoot.

Arca, built into the plate.
The profile is machined into the plate itself, so the camera drops straight onto a head with no separate plate and no adapter, and it is shaped to stop the body tipping forward. Two 1/4-20 mounts cover everything else.

A lug on the side.
It takes a wrist strap or a portrait carry setup, and the camera's own lugs are left untouched.

One screw, and the grip changes.
The handle comes off on a single screw and another goes on, so the grip can be re-finished later without replacing the plate underneath it.
Cut for this body alone.
Every surface, radius and transition was cut to meet the X-E5 rather than sit near it. A silicone padded interface sits between the plate and the body, so the fit is secure and vibration resistant without marking the camera.
