The WristFlex SL in Reporter pairs olive flat climbing rope with black leather. It ends in square lug webbing, so it threads straight onto the Leica SL and any other square lug body, and converts to quick release, Hasselblad clips or split rings when the camera changes.
It adjusts from 12 to 14 inches, and no metal part touches the camera.
- Type. Adjustable wrist strap.
- Length. Adjusts from 12 to 14 inches with two tri-glide buckles.
- Colourway. Reporter: olive rope, black leather.
- Attachment. Square lug webbing in 1/2 inch or 3/8 inch, or Quick Release, Hassy Clip or the Multi Attachment System.
- NeverScratch. No metal part touches the camera.
- Flat climbing rope. High strength flat rope forms the body of the strap.
- Leather. Italian full grain throughout, hand stitched, polished smooth with rounded edges.
- Strap end. American top grain, chosen for its toughness and tight fibers, because the end is where the wear concentrates.
- Square Lug webbing, 1/2 or 3/8 inch. 2 tri-glide adjust buckles.
- Quick Release Attachment. 2 quick release anchors in their original sealed box, simple installation needed. 2 tri-glide adjust buckles.
- Hassy Clip. 1 custom clip designed for Hasselblad cameras, a precision fit without split rings. 2 tri-glide adjust buckles.
- Multi Attachment System. 2 quick release anchors in their original sealed box. 1 leather split ring anchor, which converts the square lug end to split ring. 1 tempered polished stainless steel ring. 1 blackout tempered steel ring. 1 full grain leather anti-scratch lug cover. 1 split ring pry tool. 2 tri-glide adjust buckles.
- Square lug cameras. Threads directly onto the Leica SL system and other square lug bodies.
- Match the webbing to your lug. 1/2 inch or 3/8 inch. Measure the lug opening before ordering.
- Any other camera. The Multi Attachment System converts the strap to quick release or split ring, so it fits bodies with round lugs too.
- Hasselblad. The Hassy Clip option fits Hasselblad cameras without split rings.
- Leather. Wipe with a dry cloth. If it takes on water, let it dry away from direct heat, because heat is what hardens a hide. Full grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is the material behaving correctly, not wearing out.
- Strap end. The American top grain end takes the wear. Check its stitching when you clean the strap.
- Rope. Needs no treatment. Rinse it in cool water if it picks up salt or grit, and let it air dry.
- 1/2 inch or 3/8 inch?Match the width of your camera's square lug. If you are unsure, the Multi Attachment System covers both quick release and split ring cameras.
- Will it fit a camera with round lugs?Yes, with the Multi Attachment System or the Quick Release Attachment.
- How is the length adjusted?Two tri-glide buckles let you set and lock the length anywhere from 12 to 14 inches.
