The WristFlex, with a leather pad
The WristFlex Adjustable Padded Camera Strap is our adjustable wrist strap with a chrome tan leather pad across the back of the hand. The pad spreads the weight of the camera over a wide, soft surface, so a heavy body hangs off your wrist without a cord digging in.
The integrated tri-glide system closes the strap down onto your wrist and opens it again in a second, with no rethreading. Nothing metal or plastic in the strap touches your camera. In Outback: olive flat rope with a tan leather pad and tan ends. Handcrafted in Miami.
- Type. Adjustable padded wrist strap.

- Adjustment. The integrated tri-glide system sets and locks the length, so the strap closes down onto your wrist and opens again without being unthreaded.
- Colourway. Outback: olive flat rope with a tan leather pad and tan ends.
- Attachment. Polished split ring, quick release, Hassy clip, the multi attachment system, square lug webbing in 1/2 or 3/8 inch, or split ring for small lugs.

- Flat climbing rope. High strength flat rope forms the body of the strap.
- Italian full grain leather. Throughout the strap, hand stitched, polished smooth with rounded edges.
- The pad. Chrome tan leather across the back of the hand, so the strap carries the weight on a soft, wide surface instead of a cord.
- Strap end. American full grain, chosen for its toughness and tight fibers, because the end is where the wear concentrates.
- Tempered steel rings. Polished stainless steel and blackout steel, included with the split ring and multi attachment options.

- Square Lug 1/2 inch Flat Webbing. The strap ends in 1/2 inch flat webbing that threads straight onto a square lug. 1 tri-glide adjust buckle.
- Square Lug 3/8 inch Flat Webbing. The same end in 3/8 inch flat webbing, for narrower square lugs. 1 tri-glide adjust buckle.
- Split Ring for Small Lug. The polished split ring set, with the ring sized for small lugs. 1 full grain leather anti-scratch lug cover. 1 split ring pry tool.
- Any camera with strap lugs. Leica, Fuji, Sony, Hasselblad, Nikon and Canon bodies that take a split ring.
- Which split ring. Lug inner diameter decides it: regular lugs are about 3 mm, smaller lugs about 2.5 mm. Standard split rings are too thick for the smaller ones.
- Not sure? Choose the small lug option if your camera's lugs are thin or the standard ring will not pass through them.
- Square lug cameras. The webbing options thread straight onto a square lug. Match the width to your lug, 1/2 inch or 3/8 inch, and measure the lug opening before ordering.
- Hasselblad. The Hassy clip fits Hasselblad bodies directly, with no split rings.
- Several cameras. The multi attachment system covers split ring lugs, square lugs and quick release in one box.
- Leather. Wipe with a dry cloth. Full grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is the material behaving correctly, not wearing out.
- Wet weather. If it takes on water, let it dry away from direct heat rather than near it, because heat is what hardens a hide.
- Rope. Needs no treatment. Rinse it in cool water if it picks up salt or grit, and let it air dry.
- Check the end. Look over the strap end and its stitching when you clean the strap. That is where the load sits.
- How is this different from the plain WristFlex?Same strap and the same seven attachment options. The padded version adds a chrome tan leather pad, 1.5 in wide and 6 in long, across the back of the hand.
- Which split ring do I need?Lug inner diameter decides it: regular lugs are about 3 mm, smaller lugs about 2.5 mm. Standard split rings are too thick for the smaller ones.
- Will it fit a square lug camera?Yes. Choose Square Lug 1/2 inch or 3/8 inch flat webbing, matched to your lug, or the Multi Attachment System if you want to cover square lugs and split rings in one box.
- Can I use it with a quick release?Yes. Choose the Quick Release Attachment, or the Multi Attachment System if you also want split rings and the square lug anchor.
- Will it scratch my camera?No. Nothing metal or plastic in the strap sits against the body, and the split ring options ship with a full grain leather lug cover.
