Buffalo hide on the smallest case we make

The SlimCase is the FlexCase with everything unnecessary removed. No Arca profile, no AirTag compartment, just leather around the body and a precision machined plate underneath. This run is buffalo: a hide with a grain so deep it reads as texture from across a room, over an aircraft grade aluminum plate in Black Chrome or Silver Chrome.

The plate carries a spare SD card, an anti skid pad and two quarter twenty threads, and it leaves the battery and the USB-C port open. The EDC Keychain Tool that opens the card door is in the box. Built for the Leica M11 and M EV1, in limited batches.

  • The grainBuffalo is not calf with a pattern pressed into it. The raised grain is the hide's own, so it varies across the case and from one case to the next.
  • Traveling lightLess leather and no bracket. The camera keeps its shape in the bag without gaining the bulk of a full case.
  • The card you forgotA spare SD card lives in the plate. The tool that opens the door is on your keys, not in a drawer at home.
  • WearThe hide darkens where your hand sits and the grain softens with it. A year in, no two of these look alike.
  • Leica M11 and M EV1. The plate is machined to those bodies.
  • The case stays on. Battery and USB-C are reachable with the camera still in the leather.
  • The SD card too. The plate carries its own door, and the EDC tool that opens it is in the box.
  • Two quarter twenty threads. Straight onto a tripod head, a plate or a strap anchor.
  • No Arca profile, no AirTag compartment. Those live on the FlexCase. The SlimCase trades them for less material and less weight.
  • South African buffalo. A heavy, deeply pebbled grain that no calf hide produces, in a grey brown that shifts warm or cool with the light.
  • Structured, not stiff. It holds its shape from the first day and breaks in with use rather than going floppy.
  • Lined and padded inside. The finish of the camera never touches bare material.
  • Aircraft grade aluminum plate. Precision machined, in Black Chrome or Silver Chrome.
  • Made in Miami. Cut, machined and finished in our own shop.
  • Fits. Leica M11, Leica M EV1.
  • Plate. Aircraft grade aluminum, Black Chrome or Silver Chrome, at the same price.
  • Threads. Two quarter twenty.
  • Card storage. A spare SD card sits in the plate itself.
  • Base. Anti skid pad.
  • Access. Battery and USB-C without removing the case.
  • In the box. The EDC tool, designed by Gaston Shutters, for the SD door.
  • Production. Limited batches. Excluded from sitewide promotions.
  • Wipe it dry. A dry cloth for dust, a barely damp one for anything else.
  • If it gets wet. Let it dry away from direct heat. A radiator will stiffen leather permanently.
  • Conditioner. Sparingly. A grain this heavy needs very little.
  • The grain will change. Buffalo darkens and softens where your hand sits. That is the hide working, not the case wearing out.
  • How is this different from the FlexCase? The SlimCase drops the Arca profile and the AirTag compartment. Less material, less weight, the same protection where the camera meets the leather.
  • Do I have to take it off to change the battery or the card? No. The battery and USB-C are open, and the SD card sits behind a door in the plate that the included EDC tool opens.
  • Black Chrome or Silver Chrome? Both, at the same price. Black Chrome disappears under the leather. Silver Chrome draws a line along the base that reads against a dark hide.
  • Will mine look exactly like the photographs?Close, not identical. Buffalo grain varies more than calf does, so no two cases carry the same pattern.
  • Does it fit the M11 D?No. That body needs its own plate.
