The Point & Shoot Strap is for the photographer who chose a small camera on purpose. A Ricoh GR starts at 257 g. A Leica D-Lux is 397 g. The strap should not be the biggest thing on it.
Flat rope construction spreads pressure across your shoulder for all-day comfort, woven from high-tensile nylon that holds its shape over years of carry. A mini quick-release lanyard sits at each end, and nothing else goes on the camera. It lies flat against the body and stays scratch free where it meets the lugs.
Handmade in our own Miami shop, in four lengths from 30" to 50".

Sized for a small camera
A compact body weighs a fraction of what a mirrorless kit does, so it does not need the hardware a bigger strap carries. This one gives it a flat rope and two lanyards, and stops there.
Flat against the body
The rope lies flat rather than rolling into a cord, which is what spreads the pressure across the shoulder instead of concentrating it in a line.
Nothing that marks the camera
The lanyard is the only part that touches the lugs, and it stays scratch free where it sits.

The mini lanyard passes through a standard strap lug or eyelet, which is what most compact bodies carry.

The rope needs no treatment. Rinse it in cool water if it picks up salt or grit, and let it air dry before rolling it away.
Check the lanyard loops where they pass through the camera lugs from time to time, because that is where the wear concentrates.

- Which length should I choose?Thirty inches keeps the camera high on the chest and close to the hand. Fifty runs long enough to wear across the body. Choose by where you want the camera to sit rather than by your height.
- Will it fit my camera?If the body has a standard strap lug or eyelet, the mini lanyard passes through it. That covers most compacts, including the Ricoh GR series, the Fujifilm X100 series and the Leica D-Lux.
- How quickly does the camera come off?The lanyard is a quick release, so the camera detaches at either end without unthreading anything.
- Why a thin strap on a compact?Because the camera is already light. A Ricoh GR starts at 257 g and a Leica D-Lux is 397 g, so a wide padded strap adds bulk the body does not need.
- Does it come with anything to store it in?Yes. Every strap ships with a protective pouch.
