The No Slice Steel Core Round Rope Camera Strap is our classic round rope strap with a stainless steel anti-cut cable running inside it, from lug to lug. Same American full grain, non-scratching leather ends. Same comfort. The cable stays flexible, so you still get the strap you know, now built to resist being cut.

Strap cutting is one of the quickest ways a camera gets taken. The No Slice Steel Core line closes that gap without turning your strap into a cable lock.

  • Body. Our classic round rope, with a stainless steel anti-cut cable running inside it.
  • Cable. Stainless steel. Runs the full length of the strap, from lug to lug. Flexible, so the strap moves and drapes like our classic straps.
  • Ends. American full grain leather, non-scratching against your camera.
  • Hardware. Split rings, joined to the cable by Owlkrown CableLink at each end.
  • Length. 30, 40, 45, 50 or 55 inches, 76 to 140 cm.
  • Colour. Stealth, Black with Red Accent or Outback.
  • Made. Handcrafted in Miami, by photographers for photographers.
  • Stainless steel cable. Sits inside the rope, so the strap keeps the look and feel of the original.
  • Lug to lug. The cable is continuous from one end to the other, with no unprotected section in between.
  • American full grain ends. Chosen for toughness and tight fibers, because the ends are where the wear concentrates. Soft where the strap rests against your camera.
  • Owlkrown CableLink. Our own hardware that connects the stainless steel cable to the split rings, so the cable carries through to the rings at both ends.

  • Split rings with CableLink. Fitted at both ends, ready for your camera's strap lugs.
  • Cameras with strap lugs. Leica, Fuji, Sony, Nikon and Canon bodies that take a split ring.
  • Same fit as our classics. Wears exactly like the Classic Round Rope strap, around your neck, over your shoulder or wrapped around your hand.
  • Cleaning. Wipe the leather with a dry cloth.
  • Wet weather. If it takes on water, let it dry away from direct heat rather than near it, because heat is what hardens a hide.
  • Check the ends. Look over the leather ends and hardware when you clean the strap. That is where the load sits.
  • How is this different from the Classic Round Rope strap?Same round rope, same leather ends, same feel. The No Slice Steel Core version adds a stainless steel cable inside the strap from lug to lug, joined to the split rings by Owlkrown CableLink.
  • Does the cable make it stiff?No. The cable is flexible, so the strap still drapes and wraps like our classic straps.
  • Why anti-cut?A cable running the full length makes the strap far harder to slice through, so your camera stays on your shoulder.
