The case and the strap, cut from the same hide
The FlexCase and the Classic Flat Padded Rope strap in the same Cobalt Patina leather. Italian vegetable tanned leather in a deep, vivid blue, edges painted and sanded three times across 72 hours, over a precision machined aluminum plate for the Leica M11 and M EV1.
Both pieces come from the same run, so they start the same colour and take on a patina together. Matching them later is luck.
- Fits. Leica M11, Leica M EV1. The plate is machined to those two bodies.
- Case weight. 78 grams, 2.8 ounces, complete with the aluminum plate.
- Case size. 5 5/8 inches long, 1 1/2 inches wide, 2 3/4 inches high. 143 by 38 by 70 mm.
- Strap weight. 85 to 93 grams, depending on the length you choose.
- Set weight. 163 to 171 grams for the pair.
- Strap lengths. Five. 30 inches (76 cm), 40 inches (102 cm), 45 inches (114 cm), 50 inches (127 cm), 55 inches (140 cm). Fixed, measured end to end.
- Plate. Aircraft grade aluminum in Black Chrome or Silver Chrome, with a concealed Arca profile, an AirTag bay, dual quarter twenty threads and an anti skid base.
- Threads. Two, 1/4 inch by 20.
- Access. Battery, SD card and USB-C, all reachable with the case on.
- Price. From 669.99. The case is 525 and the strap 194.99, so the two bought separately come to 719.99.
- Production. Very small batches. Excluded from sitewide promotions.
- Matching leather, both pieces. Italian vegetable tanned leather with a rich blue patina finish, on the case and on the strap pad.
- Edges finished three times. Painted, sanded and finished again across 72 hours.
- Structured, not stiff. The case holds its shape from the first day and never goes floppy, and it molds to the body over time.
- Flat rope body. Our own flat rope, with the padded leather section where the weight lands on the neck.
- Aluminum plate. Precision machined aircraft aluminum, anodized Black Chrome or Silver Chrome. The colour sits inside the anodized layer rather than on top of it.
- Lined and padded inside. The finish of the camera never meets bare metal or bare leather.
- Made in Miami. Cut, machined and finished in our own shop.
- One hide, two piecesThe case and the strap pad come from the same run, so they start the same colour and age at the same rate. Ordering the two separately later is a gamble on the hide.
- Where the weight sitsThe flat rope sits closer to the body than a round cord, and the padded section carries the load across the neck rather than cutting into it.
- Straight onto the tripodThe Arca profile is machined into the plate and sits flush, so the head takes the camera with the case on and the strap still attached.
- Knowing where it isTrack your camera with an AirTag, concealed inside the plate. Access it anytime with the included EDC Keychain Tool. AirTag not included.

- Leica M11 and M EV1. The FlexCase plate is machined to those two bodies.
- Not the M11 D. That body needs its own plate, because the plate is machined to the body it sits under.
- The strap fits any camera. Length and attachment are chosen at checkout, so the same strap moves to a second body.
- The case stays on. Battery, SD card and USB-C are all reachable without taking the camera out of the leather.
- Straight onto a tripod. The Arca profile is concealed in the base plate, so the head takes the camera with the case still fitted.
- Two quarter twenty threads. For a plate, a grip, a cage or a strap anchor.
- Leather. A dry cloth for dust, a barely damp one for anything else, then let it dry flat and away from direct heat. A radiator will stiffen leather permanently.
- The padded section. Chrome tanned, so it tolerates damp better than the case does and needs conditioner only when it feels dry to the hand.
- The rope. No treatment. Rinse it in cool water if it picks up salt or grit and let it air dry before rolling it away.
- The plate. A dry or barely damp cloth. No solvents, no abrasive paste: the colour lives inside the anodized layer.
- The patina is the point. Both pieces darken and mark with use, and they do it together because they are cut from the same hide.
- What am I saving?The FlexCase is 525 and the strap is 194.99, so the two bought separately come to 719.99. The set starts at 669.99.
- Which attachment should I pick?Split rings are the simplest and the lightest. Quick release anchors let you take the strap off in a second. Hassy clips are for Hasselblad lugs. The bundle carries all of them, for anyone who moves one strap between bodies.
- Can I get the case in brass?Not in the set. The set is built on the aluminum plate, which is what the 78 gram figure refers to.
- Is the strap leather the same as the case?Yes, the same hide in the same run. That pairing is not sold anywhere else.
- Does it fit the M11 D?No. That body needs its own plate.
